You Are Never Going To Believe Your Ears!!!!

What can i say good weekend or bad weekend? Friday was ace, dispite leaving early from the Golden Lion from "The night before" which was ace, i loved hearing Take Me To The City and Ricky and The Pigeons, Mendez as good too, but i was gutted not to hear Karys play   =(    Hopefully she'll do another set soon =) Another bad point was not going to The Room Upstairs 2 because i was at Nottingham for a lifesaving competition. Was it worth it?

Nottingham Lifesaving competition, we left Plymouth uni at 12:00 am (midnight) for our supposed 8 hour journey in a minibus, which ended up being 5 1/2 hours, with only a hour sleep, everyone is kranky, but we see through it =) So we get breakfast from asda at 5:30am and as the cafe was closed, we got bread, hot cross buns and cheese =P And ate it in the store in our sleeping bags like true tramps =) We got to the competition and conviced the guards to let us into the sports hall and sleep upstairs in the sleeping area, we didn't realise that there where cctv cameras, but we didn't do anything bad, it was just that they (the guards) could have done anything in their little booth whilst watching us... ewww

We managed to get 3 hours sleep in the hall seats, which isn't good for a sports competition, so our incidents sucked pinehouse, we got a 2 person penalty for our rope throw relay, but we came 7th out of 28th in our swim and tow and resuce medley. We came 21st out of 28 teams, shite to say the least, at London uni compeition we came 5th out of 29 teams so there is a little comparison for you. I blame the lack of sleep making everyone angry.

Social =) We went from characters from Toy Story, so of course i went as Woody, our 6th form leavers fancy dress came in handy again, i couldn't find a yellow checkered shirt like Woody's so i comprimised with a yellow shirt saying "I Want Hair Like The Hoff" and with it being a lifesaving social it went down like a treat. I also managed to find out that my love life might be getting better, so i'll see what happens and keep you posted =) The social was standard, getting really drunk and dancing =P And i felt fine the day after, no hangover, win =) especially as Jagerbombs where £1.50 =)

The journey back was horrid! Kranky, depressed from doing badly, people acting like twats, so i just kept my head low, took the abuse and just saw through the shit to see the sugar and why they where acting like dicks. Plus i found out that it snowed back home in Paignton too!!! And that's all i got to say about that.

So really i should have stayed home, but i needed to know if my feelings where right about a certain someone at a different uni who we compete against. They where right and it just keeps getting better =) I can't wait for valentines day for once!!!!!

A Happy Woodshack =)

Tonight Should Be A Good Night =]

Sup Guys,

It's been a while since i lasted blogged and i thought that i'd grace you with my prescence again, the human faced lamb was weird (my last blog, if you haven't read it is a definate must do today). At the moment i'm listening to Plan B - Stay Too Long and Owl City - fireflies. Whilst i'm typing this up i should be in my lecture rather than at home, but i overslept giving me 15 minutes to get from on side of Devon to the other, not going to happen, oops. Anyways since i lasted blogged, i've started on my quest to be a beach lifeguard, which started last week at Whitsands Bay, and the sea was mighty cold but worth it due to the epic waves which was ace to learn beach lifeguarding, and mess about on catching waves on the surf resuce boards.

Just an example of how big the waves where, this was taken out to sea at roughly 400 m out to sea where we can't touch the floor, it was roughly twice the size of me at least =)

Speaking of lifeguarding, i'm off to Nottingham today/tomorrow early morning, we leave Plymouth at midnight, which should be an epic competition as we are dressing up as Toy Story, and guess who'sgoing as Woody =P? Also 10th February is coming up and i need sponsorship from people as i'm getting waxed, from the neck downward, plus i'll be wearing speedos so it's worth seeing too =)

I'm excited today, not just because of the lifesaving competition, but also becuase i'm going to The Golden Lion tonight to see Karys (http://whoisgrumblebeard.blogspot.com/) perform a multitude of songs as well as other bands, but i'm excited to see Karys play as i have that gut feeling that it'll be good, i can't stay for the whole night, and i can't drink as i need to drive to the station, to get to Plymouth, plus it'll be out of my system soon after and holding urine on a minibus ain't a good thing, especially whn your mates like to play laybys. This is where peope shout out a number and the highest one wins, plus it also means how many laybys you have to pass before you can stop at a service station for food or to do the business =/

Hopefully i'll see you lot at The Golden Lion tonight =)

Woodshackalack out

Sheep gives birth to human faced lamb!!!!

It may only be 16days into the new decade but things are already really fucking weird... just look at this story from the Daily Telegraph!!!!

Sheep gives birth to human-faced lamb

Here's the picture... it's sooo fucking weird!!!

Right then, more news. 10th February isn't going to be my best day, if anything it's going to be painful as i'm getting waxed. Yes you did hear right i'm getting everything, aparrt from my groin area and face waxed, so the plymouth uni lifesaving club can stay alive. I need to raise at least £20 and hopefully some of you lot will donate money as i'm going to be in pain and i'm sure it's worth at least £1 to see me in pain and with very little hair =( But on some more good news, after having multiple gym sessions with graham i'm still losing weight and building muscle which i'm pumped about, so now i'm roughly 12 st 5-7lbs =) i plan to lose about another 9-11 lbs so i'll be 11st something. Plus congrats to Duffield for being lead singer in the Pigeons and for graham to fucking up his fingers so he can't play call of duty, maybe now i can finally be a higher level than you =P i'm already kciking your ass in accuracy and kill to death ratio and i'm getting close to having more kills tan you, so watch out and be afraid.... be very afraid!!!

For Feck Sake!!!!

Has hell frozen over as last week as there is actually some snow in Torbay?! With all the pictures of snowmen i'm starting to wish i made one, but no i had to cooped inside doing a water quality report in Somerset... oh how fun it is to write a 1500 word report about water... which i still haven't finished and i should really be doing now, but tbh i'm in my 1st year which doesn't count to my degree at the end of the year and it is due on friday so i have plenty of time =)

Sometimes life is a bitch, and yesterday I reversed into a wall causing a massive scratch on Penelope (my Peugeot 107), yes it may have been really stupid to claim that i didn't see the massive white wall, but i really didn't it was well camoflaged with the surroundings! I would insert a picture of it here if i had a digital camera on a camera on my phone, but i don't because i really can't be asked to spend a sheet load of money on something which will be outdated very soon, plus i plan to get a new phone soon anyway. Hopefully i'll get what i want when my phone contract can be renewed, so here is a possible before and after photo.

Current Phone                                                              New Phone

Just a little bit of a change eh =P Also i put the idea of having my b'day party (well day after my b'day) in Bath as it is a good halfway point for people and i'm there on a lifesaving competition and currently  i have Duffield, Sophie, Graham, Jimmy and Anna possibly going, which i reckon should be a lot more people going if they could be bothered to make the trip (RICKY & WADE!!!!) I don't mind taking people up and back in Penelope but i can only take 3 more people as well as myself.

Stay Safe

It's Been A While....

Hello and Happy New Year To All Whom Still Read This Blog =P

(F.Y.I) Music Currently Listening Too - "Kalimba" By Mr Scruff

As the title says, it's been a while since i've done this and i hope that i haven't lost the hang of this... How have things been? It's been good to be honest, i've started uni at Plymouth (GREEN ARMY =P) and after seeing Karys' and Duffield's posts about their hoddies i'm going to have to show my pride, after i get the money to buy it that is. Yes i'm a little cash strapped atm, but at least i haven't got a student loan to worry about =)

Since i've last blogged lots have happened, been in and kicked out of a band, i've become a lifeguard (again), been awarded lifesaver of the year for Devon, finally got rid of the first kiss, yes i know pretty lame to have had that for 18 years... and have had a lot of them since then, even if they where drunk, people may hate me for this but yes, i did manage to turn a 20 year old Lesbian straight =D and i've joined the Plymouth Blitz American Football Team playing as Linebacker, I'm in the Plymouth Uni Water Polo 1st Team and i've joined the University of Plymouth Surf Lifesaving Team so i may be coming to a Uni near you, next stop University of Nottingham, 30th January.

Just putting it out there, is anyone up for a reunion whilst at uni in a halfway place? Bath maybe? Because i'm up for having an ace time with everyone who's up for it =)

Quote of the week - "Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings."

I Should Really Blog More Often

Yep, its really as simple as the title says... I really should blog more often. But let me get more to the point of this blog, after a truely weird, confusing, painful and funny conversation with wade and some more bunch of other peeps, we got on to the topic of sex, yes i know, but it's not what you think and it went in the complete and utter wrong direction... Wade's House + Graham + Becky = Ouch (to put it plain and simple) they know what happened. This did creep me out a lot, i mean ok it's rare and all but 2 of the 4 lads in B.Pow have a Penile fracture?! WHAT THE HELL!
Just wikipedia or google it, lads... its hard reading about it, as i'm gunna say no more about it. Now that it's over and done with i'm gunna get on to the last day of school for me =] After loads and loads of plans, including some involving dead fish & underwear, its going to be so much more cooler than anyone will ever imagine and hopefully if it all goes well google earth can see it ;] I'm forbidden to say much more but if you don't follow the code be prepared for hell, golden syrup, feathers, water, shaving foam and other putrid substances will follow.

I know this blog has been very disfragmented but oh well, i promise you'll love this part. Sunday 17th May was the best day ever for me, i went to Wembley to see Torquay United dominate Cambridge United and win 2 - 0 with 2 fantasic goals and a Cambridge player sent off too and get promoted to the Coca Cola Football League 2 (COME ON YOU GULLS!!!), i saw one of my dad's mate who is probably one of the world's funniest blokes you'll ever meet and get talking on a train journey back home to a variety of people and to people who i haven't heard from in a while, who i hope to see very soon. And i know not many people read this but hopefully McGreal can set up an end of summer party and leaving to uni party involving partying, booze, sleeping over, human conckers, sumo suits, knocking people of inflated stands with poles and loads of friends so hopefully everyone (yes including me if i stay over will get stupidly drunk =])

Now for your Favourite part... but it's been demoted to weekly for complaints by an annoying person who can't take the fact that illuminating door handles, which look strangly like lightsabers are cooler than the cool face...

Lesser Known Object Of The Week - The Coke lid
This wasn't exactly inspired by me, actually by Duffield as we both don't think it gets enough praise, as it lets you actually drink the drink when you pull the ring pull, otherwise the ring pull is very pointless, plus it prevents splash back when you are drinking unless you're an Idiot with the I.Q of a Spade... then you truely are a retard if you have suffered from Coke splash back.

Rating - 4/10
Coolness - 5/100

Yes it is a good idea but honestly truely pointless as 500 ml bottles are around, plus you have to be a retard to not make it work properly. Not very cool neither as no one has actually bothered to make this part look really funky like the door handles, or paint it black to trick people. Sorry but the cool face wins in every rating possible, even those not mentioned.

Also whilst searching the internet for decent pictures of a coke can, i got bored and decided to censor a picture of the Milky Bar Kid becuase its just so creepy and i couldn't be asked to make it look perfect. Have a look:

Illuminating Door Handles? NO WAY!!!

Well, yesterday was the first day of my new job at Clennon Valley, the official title being 'Recreation Assistant' and its alright lifeguarding, setting up equipment, cleaning etc plus the other people who work there are also pretty cool. My hours are casual, meaning that i can work pretty much when i want and i'm not stuck doing a certain amount of hours per week, and with uni coming up soon, i'll try to work a fair few hours so i can start saving up and having a lairy time. Also great news Quaywest is going to open and i have a good feeling that i'm a shoe-in for a lifeguarding job there, so more lairy times await in summer XD

Ok now its part of the day at which i've stolen loads of ideas from other peoples blog and create a new thing and give it more appreciation and reviewing, yes that's right its the...

Lesser Known Object Of The Day

Today's object: - Illuminating Door Handles

We all know how important door handles are to us, they let us into places we can't necessarily reach, for example, how can you get into a room where you need to pull the door towards you, answer you can't unless you have a door handle! Two problems with them is that they are usually plain and boring and are either a pretend gold or pretend silver, plus you can't see them in the dark... Problem solved, have a look at this:

Now then how cool are they? They solve both problems and make a house look way more fun, cool and attractive (in a non sexual way of course). Personally cooler than aglets as they can't be illuminative and serve a equal purpose in life. Again going against everything Ricky 'A-huh-huh' Moysey says i'm saying these are cooler than the cool face again.

Rating 10/10
Coolness 100/100

By the way I can't wait to go to Kary's party, it's gunna be sweet =]
