I Should Really Blog More Often

Yep, its really as simple as the title says... I really should blog more often. But let me get more to the point of this blog, after a truely weird, confusing, painful and funny conversation with wade and some more bunch of other peeps, we got on to the topic of sex, yes i know, but it's not what you think and it went in the complete and utter wrong direction... Wade's House + Graham + Becky = Ouch (to put it plain and simple) they know what happened. This did creep me out a lot, i mean ok it's rare and all but 2 of the 4 lads in B.Pow have a Penile fracture?! WHAT THE HELL!
Just wikipedia or google it, lads... its hard reading about it, as i'm gunna say no more about it. Now that it's over and done with i'm gunna get on to the last day of school for me =] After loads and loads of plans, including some involving dead fish & underwear, its going to be so much more cooler than anyone will ever imagine and hopefully if it all goes well google earth can see it ;] I'm forbidden to say much more but if you don't follow the code be prepared for hell, golden syrup, feathers, water, shaving foam and other putrid substances will follow.

I know this blog has been very disfragmented but oh well, i promise you'll love this part. Sunday 17th May was the best day ever for me, i went to Wembley to see Torquay United dominate Cambridge United and win 2 - 0 with 2 fantasic goals and a Cambridge player sent off too and get promoted to the Coca Cola Football League 2 (COME ON YOU GULLS!!!), i saw one of my dad's mate who is probably one of the world's funniest blokes you'll ever meet and get talking on a train journey back home to a variety of people and to people who i haven't heard from in a while, who i hope to see very soon. And i know not many people read this but hopefully McGreal can set up an end of summer party and leaving to uni party involving partying, booze, sleeping over, human conckers, sumo suits, knocking people of inflated stands with poles and loads of friends so hopefully everyone (yes including me if i stay over will get stupidly drunk =])

Now for your Favourite part... but it's been demoted to weekly for complaints by an annoying person who can't take the fact that illuminating door handles, which look strangly like lightsabers are cooler than the cool face...

Lesser Known Object Of The Week - The Coke lid
This wasn't exactly inspired by me, actually by Duffield as we both don't think it gets enough praise, as it lets you actually drink the drink when you pull the ring pull, otherwise the ring pull is very pointless, plus it prevents splash back when you are drinking unless you're an Idiot with the I.Q of a Spade... then you truely are a retard if you have suffered from Coke splash back.

Rating - 4/10
Coolness - 5/100

Yes it is a good idea but honestly truely pointless as 500 ml bottles are around, plus you have to be a retard to not make it work properly. Not very cool neither as no one has actually bothered to make this part look really funky like the door handles, or paint it black to trick people. Sorry but the cool face wins in every rating possible, even those not mentioned.

Also whilst searching the internet for decent pictures of a coke can, i got bored and decided to censor a picture of the Milky Bar Kid becuase its just so creepy and i couldn't be asked to make it look perfect. Have a look:

Illuminating Door Handles? NO WAY!!!

Well, yesterday was the first day of my new job at Clennon Valley, the official title being 'Recreation Assistant' and its alright lifeguarding, setting up equipment, cleaning etc plus the other people who work there are also pretty cool. My hours are casual, meaning that i can work pretty much when i want and i'm not stuck doing a certain amount of hours per week, and with uni coming up soon, i'll try to work a fair few hours so i can start saving up and having a lairy time. Also great news Quaywest is going to open and i have a good feeling that i'm a shoe-in for a lifeguarding job there, so more lairy times await in summer XD

Ok now its part of the day at which i've stolen loads of ideas from other peoples blog and create a new thing and give it more appreciation and reviewing, yes that's right its the...

Lesser Known Object Of The Day

Today's object: - Illuminating Door Handles

We all know how important door handles are to us, they let us into places we can't necessarily reach, for example, how can you get into a room where you need to pull the door towards you, answer you can't unless you have a door handle! Two problems with them is that they are usually plain and boring and are either a pretend gold or pretend silver, plus you can't see them in the dark... Problem solved, have a look at this:

Now then how cool are they? They solve both problems and make a house look way more fun, cool and attractive (in a non sexual way of course). Personally cooler than aglets as they can't be illuminative and serve a equal purpose in life. Again going against everything Ricky 'A-huh-huh' Moysey says i'm saying these are cooler than the cool face again.

Rating 10/10
Coolness 100/100

By the way I can't wait to go to Kary's party, it's gunna be sweet =]

It Felt So Empty Without Me...

Right then, where do i start? After many weeks of deliberation i have decided to continue my blog. many of you would be thinking, why did you stop? Honestly, i did have the time with exams coming up and try to get everything sorted such as revision, driving theory test, jobs etc. But nevertheless i'm back and better than ever.

Lesser Known Thing of the Day: AGLETS

What are they? Are they really more cooler than the cool face? Why yes, yes they are. Aglets are the plastic or metal sheath at the end of your shoelaces which all together make shoe tying and treading shoelaces a lot more easier than without them, and with my shoes not having them, i am suffering a lot without them. So a big shout out to the dude or dudette who invented them for making life easier.

RATING - 10/10

Laters... Woodshack

p.s. Unlucky but Congrats on the paintball Karys =] It's sooo much fun =]

That's Another Load Off Your Mind!

If you haven't guessed already or are new to reading this awesome blog, the Woodshack as well as the description, it is named after my nickname from Quaywest Woodshack, which was inspired by the well known tune "Love Shack" by the B-52's.

For the first time ever on blogspot, at which will probably be of many at some point, I missed a day of being able to blog. That's right TOM WOOD MISSED A DAY OF BLOGGING! But it was all for a good cause, i ended up passing my beginners swimming teachers exam so i am now able to teach 10 pupils on learning how to swim, got back at 4 and went to a barbecue at 6:30. Your probably thinking that leaves 2 1/2 hours for you to write a blog though, ah but no my dear Watson it doesn't, taking a bath, getting money out of a piggy bank with no lid or thing to get your money out, which by the way was painstakingly hard and surprisingly harder work than i expected, going to Sainsbury's to get mother's day presents as well as some barbecue food and buns and then heading to the party takes 2 1/2 hours, if you don't believe me try it!

Well anyways the barbecue was awesome, despite of 3 gatecrashers who shall go nameless and personally as i knew them i thought they made the party more enjoyable, Karys & Wade, yes they actually did turn up in the end, even if it was at 9:00pm made it a great night even though Alan, Fiona, Rachael & Adam left early, it was great. Cheers Sam =] Also at the barbecue I managed to get the 2 real reasons on why i was asked to leave Battery Powered, which I do agree with and for the record predicted, this got a load of my mind and i'm really really really happy about now. Even before Karys & Wade arrived i temporarily lost my drawstring bag which had my mobile phone and wallet in, so thinking it was under some chairs i ended up bending over looking for it and getting poked in the eye by the point of a plant, at which everyone thought i got poked by Jimmy's schlong, getting the nickname for the evening - cockeye, similar to the cartoon Popeye, but more embarrassing, but it was a laugh and it didn't bother me at all, it was a great laugh. After more in depth speaking with Karys & Wade revealed more things, on which I won't reveal as some are personal and i'm sure he/she/them won't appreciate it, i just hope it gets sorted out. Now after posting some more things today on Yahoo! Answers got another load off my mind at which i'm now not really bothered about, and also found out that it's perfectly normal and if people want to screw themselves over as well as many other things they can do it, curiosity killed the cat, and i don't plan to get killed by the b******d named as curiosity, but just to clarify i'm not a cat. Ok.

Now after plugging away on Thursday and Sunday (today) on my Chemistry coursework, i've now got pretty much most of it done, I just now have to speak to my Chemistry teacher so we can go through the rest of the coursework and see where i can improve on and how i can change things for the better. Speaking of chemistry does anybody know of any good tutors for this exam coming up in June as i need to get good results in them, this exam and a retake so i can join Plymouth university, yes the one which has the championship football side Plymouth Argyle close to it, which for the record aren't as good as Watford or Manchester United.

If you read my last post there was a number for an National Pool Lifeguard Course which was free for 16-18 year olds who are in full time education, i.e. in 6th Form or college. However, there is a mandatory fee of £80 for the lifeguard logbook (£50) & for the assessment (£30). So sorry if this does effect your view on the course, but i know some followers are looking to do the course so fingers crossed they'll be going on it =] Here is the number again - (01803) 853302

My 2nd to last post, the Ricky Moysey style blog I really enjoyed doing, so I may be doing one every month just to keep you guys guessing on what is coming next. This is a kind of small blog for some more hardcore followers of The Woodshack, as my brother is pestering me for the Laptop as well as i'm about to go off practicing my driving and go to Clennon Valley to coach Water Polo, Lifesaving as well as do some lifesaving for a change.

Today's A Luck Day For You 2 Blogs In One Day Part 2 - The Tom Wood Blog

"My fellow Woodshackians" would be the way George W. Bush would address this blog and it's followers, but i couldn't get him to do this one as he is to busy writing his memoirs of his presidency or being a geisha, what ever he did first and enjoyed, i can't remember what he did first... Today has been great fun, aside from doing a tribute blog to Ricky Moysey and his hilarious blogs, finding a picture of a two headed dog and a police cat, naming all 50 states of America and getting £5 in the post for doing a 82 page questionnaire, getting a mention on Kary's Top 10 blog quotes from Alan, Duffield, Ricky and yours truely and i'm finally going to get this annoyingly simple teaching course out of the way once and for all. As i said in the last post, my good friend since year 7 Duffield, duffman, duffers, what ever you want to call him has now got a blog and from the looks of it is addicted to it after doing only 4 short blogs, sorry Duffield but oh dear. If any other people actually reading this blog aside from myself and the other 4 followers then hit his blog and have a read, be warned you may need to keep your laughter down - http://plainclothesclown.blogspot.com/

Well, with mother's day this sunday and me having the lack of attention and ability to sow or make things i need to go out and get me some flowers and/or chocolate and a card for my mum, as well as get her a birthday present for next monday, and i personally am going to spend pretty much the rest of my money that i have saved to get wii fit and a electronic monopoly game, as well as get myself a well needed American football and pump, just to make Ricky happy and give me and my bros something to do which is nearly fun as a video game and we can do at home, as well as get fit and get better at it so i can beat Ricky! That's right eventually the apprentice beats the master, it always happens Ricky, it always happens!

Well at the moment for me, my life is going to be courses and coursework, which sucks a lot, and to top it off the next course, a national pool lifeguard qualification will be done in Brixham Pool, the same one as my teaching course, so my life is going to be lived in Brixham for a while, and if anyone wants to join me on this free course for 16 - 18 year olds, that's right folks it's free for 16 - 18 year olds, who can swim more than 50 metres in 1 minute, piece of piss, and can swim 2 lengths can join me on it and apply for it, contact Brixham College on (01803) 853302 and ask about the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification course. It looks good on a curriculum vitae and opens up loads more jobs like working as a lifeguard at Quaywest to working for the English Rivera International Centre as a lifeguard to, plus it's great fun with rated people including yours truly, so phone now incase you miss out!

This Saturday, aka tomorrow I could really use some down time with my mates at Brixham Pool, Admiral Swimming Pool, or something like that as i could use some hanging out time as well as some support to, plus it's nice to hang out and chill, especially if I know that a few of you are in Brixham at the time, I know who you are and you know who you are, so head up to the pool outside Brixham Community College around about lunchtime please. Well i'm starting to get tired and i have a busy weekend ahead of me with an exam and coursework to nail over the weekend. So be afraid of another blog on Saturday & Sunday... mwhahahahaha!!! By the way did anyone manage to answer my question from the last blog?

Today's A Luck Day For You 2 Blogs In One Day Part One - The Ricky Moysey Blog

Well if you can't read then your at the wrong place, also i'm even surprised you even got here in the first place if you can't read. Like the title says I'm going to post two blogs today, with this one in reply to the Tom Wood style blog done by Ricky Moysey, well to play fire with fire i'm going to do a Ricky Moysey style blog.

Instead of writing about today or about something decent in life, i'm going to tell you what can be funny about a backside of a dog? Not much eh? How about putting a pair of sunglasses on it and making it look like a face? Well now that i've said it i'm now obviously going to post it, and here it is...

Now you may think that your life is complete as it can be, but no it gets better, the story goes like this, i was watching TV and this one dude who was going 55mph in a 54 mph zone, the speeding freak, got pulled over by the police and look who popped up, none other than the local police cat!

The dude was freaked out like hell, and i bet that he was wondering how does a cat manage to get that tall. You may be thinking on how did this happen, we will never know but here is a good explanation on the two pictures:

OMFG that dog's ass looks like a face and Freakin' hell that is one damn good undercover agent!

But we all know that we can never reveal our sources or tricks. Now that yours and my lives are complete we can never and i mean NEVER be the same again! Spread the word and don't speed or the cat will get you!!!

Tell Me Can You Ask For Anything More Than A Great Spring Day And Great Friends?

Hey peeps, its another great spring, cloudless, sunny day making me feel happy as well as thereanother shack attack on it is way man, gnarly!!!! Well today has been great i feel, only 2 lessons and cake in the last one =O Which means that i had 3 free lessons to bum around, do work and sleep. It came to 4 lesson and it was good weather, again, so i decided not restrict and confine myself indoors so i chilled in the cloudless sky and sun and listened to my iPod and had a 500ml bottle of Orange squash in the other. Eventually i fell asleep for what must have been 10/15 minutes because i can't remember what songs i was listening to. After downloading more songs, with the list including James Morrison Featuring Nelly Furtado - "Broken Strings", Timbaland's newish album - "Timbaland Presents: Shock Value" as well as some Bruce Springsteen, and one song of his songs which has really inspired me is "The Wrestler" which conveniently was written for the movie, which is awesome, a must see in my opinion. You must download that song if you want to have more a full life than a gorilla & a shark high 5'ing in mid air with an explosion in the background and a discrete "nice" in the corner looking on like some paedophilia word, despite on how cool a gorilla and shark high 5'ing in mid air with an explosion looks anyway.

My fellow Shackians I'm glad to say that another one of my mates has now joined the following trend in blogspot, Jamie Duffield and at the moment i can't remember what his URL is so i can't tell you nor follow it myself which is a bummer i know but it should be known by tomorrow. Well hopefully it won't be a pointless blog like Alan's or Ricky's, which for the record Ricky's is much better Alan, it's more fun to read and to see the pictures too. Duffield's second blog is about Ricky's 10 greatest quotes, so have a look and hit it up.

As for the home front, my two little brothers can't seem to get along all of the time, well even most of the time, maybe because the older one thinks he's better and dominant than him, which he is, but that gives him no right to treat him like it. But he doesn't try on it me because he knows he'll get served big time by me. All i have to do he give him a bear hug and then a wedgie or the other way around and he's beginning for mercy, the noob. My little little bro looks up to me i think because my little bro bullies him a bit and i make sure they don't go too far, so it's nice to see. Plus my little bro (the older one) doesn't understand why my little little bro (the youngest one) doesn't like him, seriously are you that stupid? Stupid enough to look up stupid in a dictionary, maybe.

I am now on a NPLQ course so i can carry on lifeguarding and keeping people in the area safe from drowning, but this means that i'll miss valuable teaching time for my mini water polo group which sucks a lot, but i need to do it. Speaking of courses its my teaching swimming course exam on Saturday and it looks like a pretty much guaranteed to pass, but i'm not counting my eggs just yet, so hopefully i'll be able to teach swimming and get more money when i'm at uni next year, which is going to be a rated time! Again, more exams i need to book my driving theory test again, as from what you've guessed already, i failed but only by 2 marks and only using the highway code and no interactive cd's so i'm quite proud of myself really even though it isn't a pass.

My driving lesson yesterday was eventful to say the least, 4 major things happened. One dude overtook me in a single lane traffic, swerved to miss on coming traffic, then pulled into a space in the queue and broke hard, with tire squeal to stop for a red light, where people were crossing, the dude nearly killed someone! Second thing, the one of many buses on their conveniently named "bus routes" down here stopped at a bus stop, as you do, so i went to overtake it, he flicked on his indicators and pulled out when i was half way around him, the wanker nearly took me right out, ah! He made me SO mad! Thirdly in a traffic queue, no longer than 2 minutes after the bus incident, one dude was blocking the box with yellow diagonal lines crossing over it, so some random person bellowed his horn, me being in a angry, aroused mood i had a right go and moan at the dude from inside my driving instructors car, thinking that the dude behind me has yelled his horn, oops lol. Finally going around the back of the train station to head home on my driving lesson, there were cars to the left of me so i was on the wrong side of the road going slowly to make sure i didn't hit anything, as it was a narrowish road, some dude came around the blind corner at what seemed 30-40 miles per hour, realised i was there and broke, i broke way before hand as i was aware of him, and we must have stopped in what seemed 10 to 15 metres away and for me, a learner driver was freaking close! I nearly shat myself, not literally by the way. After that it was plain sailing after then and no more problems, but that was my driving lesson for you.

Well, i'm starting to run out of things to say about today and yesterday after my blog so i'll leave you with this... How much wood can a wood chuck chuck, if a wood chuck could chuck wood?

By the way Karys how do you make a good photo? You seem to be ace at them! Plus Ricky, when can we practice American football and we all, the group need to hang out more, that includes you Ricky!
